Quaker Steak & Lube® Launches Newest Restaurant in Medina
The chain has more locations in Ohio than any other state
On Mar. 6, Quaker Steak & Lube®, the award-winning casual dining concept known for its Best Wings USA and over 20 sauce varieties, will launch its newest restaurant in Medina, Ohio. Ohio plays host to more QSL locations than any other state.
On Mar. 4, ORA President and CEO Geoff Hetrick joined Quaker Steak & Lube Founders George Warren, Gary Meszaros and Quaker Steak and Lube President/CEO John Longstreet at the new location for its VIP party.
Founded in 1974 and built in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, Penn., the original Quaker Steak & Lube began as a cook-your-own steak restaurant before expanding to nearly 60 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The unique décor, including race cars suspended from the ceilings, motorcycles, Corvettes and gas station memorabilia, combined with the food and high-octane events has afforded “The Lube” a cult-like fan following. Today, the company has become one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains in the country, and has won hundreds of national and international awards for its wings and over 20 different wing sauces.
