Feedback from the thousands of restaurateurs throughout Ohio and the Midwest who attended the Expo was extremely positive. They loved it and can’t wait for next year.
Attendees appreciated all of the excellent exhibitors, new contacts and business opportunities. They learned from elite speakers and experienced several brand new elements, including the Flavors of the Midwest and Burger Battle. Our Industry Award winners were inspiring, especially lifetime achievement winner Dan Young of Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs. To top it all off, celebrity chef Michael Symon was a big hit. He wowed a packed house during his cooking demonstration and dialogue. Many thanks to our Iron Chef from Cleveland!
Exhibitors filled the show hall and represented the industry in an A+ manner. They are so critical to restaurant and foodservice businesses, and I can’t thank them enough.
As many of you know, we’ve completely transformed the Expo and will continue to raise the profile of the two-day event. Pre-Expo marketing was outstanding and we’re driving extensive post-show communications to build awareness for the future. The energy on the show floor this year was outstanding, and we want to make sure the momentum keeps going throughout the year.
