One of our priorities at the ORA is to bring thought leadership and excellent content to our restaurant members and vendor partners. We constantly study industry and business trends, as well as breakthrough ideas to generate topics.
The result is producing events like the Mid-America Restaurant Expo. In addition to chef Michael Symon as keynote speaker, our Expo in January featured 50 speakers who are leaders, experts and professionals who provide incredible insights. Members and non-members get access to experts that would otherwise cost them thousands of dollars. Check out highlights from this year's Expo, and follow #MAREXPO on social media to stay updated year round.
The great news for our members is that we never rest. We’ve created a series of meetings and events for the rest of 2018 across the state in the form of Town Halls, our Idea Factory, events highlighting insights and inspiration, Education Foundation sessions, Advocacy meetings, and our Local Restaurant Alliances in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati.
We regularly provide updates about these events on our website, in our weekly e-newsletter, NewsBites, à la carte Magazine, direct communications with our members and social media.
I am thrilled to share that our next three major events will be A+, thanks to our GREAT speakers. Here are the highlights:
March 7 – Our Town Hall tomorrow will be held at Creekside Conference Center in Gahanna and feature Ohio’s two political party chairs, plus leaders from the three most prominent economic development groups in Ohio (Columbus 2020, REDI Cincinnati and Greater Cleveland Partnership).
